Have you ever wondered how your competitors crush their social media?
Four words. A KILLER social strategy! These days the market is so saturated that businesses find it hard to break through to their customers. A social media strategy, equips businesses with a method of reaching their targeted audience easily by standing out from the crowd.
There is so much we can discuss about social strategy in business, so we will have to dive in deeper on another blog but for now, here are our five tips to a KILLER social strategy.
1. Set some goals
The first step to success is to visualise what your goals are and how they can be achieved. Check out our blog post on how you can create a vision board for yourself and your business here.

2. Choose your social networks
It’s important to choose your social media networks wisely for your business. We recommend starting with a max of 2-3 social media channels to establish a presence on! Quality over quantity in this case, so you don’t overwhelm yourself. Pick 2-3 networks that suit your target market really well. Eg. you won’t find an elderly customer on Snapchat necessarily.

4. Plan your content
Planning your content prior to posting is one of the BEST ways to stay organised and ahead of the game!
The aim is to create content that your audience will be interested in and then when you have their attention, you can then funnel them through the journey of purchasing from your business.
Once you have thought about what content you want to post on your socials, it’s now time to schedule it in.
Some great scheduling programs include:
5. Track and measure your social goals
Now that we have the first four steps nailed, we can move on to tracking and measuring your social goals with the data that is collected from social networks.
We recommend checking your analytics and insights weekly on each platform you use. This will help you to establish what is working best/performing well and what areas you can improve on.
